I read everything u write. And when I got in front of the BOS in Spotsy, your articles about the short fall and the boiler problems at Chancellor HS came into my head and I paraphrased u. The Fredericksburg Free Press printed what I said. Should I apologize to them or to you.

They are not pulling NAEP

The actual institute of education sciences reports done every 2 years

If your standard is a 2 and the nation is a 7 you’re gonna look awesome

When they equate them every 2 yrs and make them all equal

This is a 2019 study. Taylor cites 2022 scores. Also, this study is a way of using NAEP to assess state standards rigor. It's not an assessment of NAEP performance. Details matter. It also worth nothing that many dispute this assessment. The conservative Fordham Foundation, which the Youngkin administration regularly cites, rates Virginia standards among the best. What Taylor said matters. If he wanted to talk about standards assessment then he should say that. That is not what he said.
