You heard it here (again) folks. It's over. You're a Democrat, and you're all alone.

The same folks that told you Monica Gary was a viable candidate, so seriously consider her, and then acted surprised when Tara Durant got in - have written off the Presidential election based upon Democrats not showing up to vote in a primary where there was only one candidate that mattered; while the Republicans had a true election between the rational and kult wings of their party (in which the kult won by an overwhelming number - btw).

I didn't vote. I worked a 12 hour day instead. But you can bet your bippy I'll be there in November if I'm breathing. And if the choice is between Donald Trump and a yellow 3-legged dog with mange, the dog gets a vote.

You may be right on some things however. Based on your buddy SK's history, I expect the vast majority of Republicans who voted for Haley will fall in line. They always do.

As they'll rationalize thru all of the horrors of a 2nd revenge term, (should the klan win again) that hey - they tried, gosh darn it.

(And possibly 3rd, 4th, 5th term as SCOTUS tells us that like the 14th; the 22nd Amendment on term limits cannot be enforced because of (insert brand new legal reasoning here)- and that most rights and laws are fungible and negotiable - depending on who they're applied to.)

Older people have shown repeatedly that they will overlook any and all transgressions in pursuit of a never ending hope of comity - as the goal posts move farther and farther away every time they draw near. Look at recent posts from the Editor of the FB Advance for more details.....

So why not youth?

We've got a whole generation of Baby Boomers who've placed style over substance, party over principle, and the almighty dollar over all else.

Why should their kids be any different?

But until that day gets here, I'll be voting against it. But only when it matters. Otherwise, I've got work to do. Like most Democrats.

It's the retired welfare Republicans, drawing off of a Social Security that they are leaving for their children and grandchildren to pay for, who had a free day on a school and work Tuesday to go play at the polls.

Working people worked. Don't read too much into it.
