Love this article. I'm a social liberal, fiscal conservative, so nobody wants my vote. 😉 I agree there is little constituency in either party for deficit reduction, much less debt reduction. It would have to be (as you've said) like the BRAC commission, or something on like sequestration that's on autopilot.
